Blackcomb provides ongoing aviation support to the mining and geophysical sectors. This includes executive transport via Blackcomb’s jet division, air transfers, site inspection, and survey operations. Blackcomb’s helicopter division offers specialty skills in moving drills, staking claims and a wide variety of geophysical work.
Specialty rotary aircraft for mining operations include 355 (Twinstars FX + F2), 205++, 206, 407, 350 Super D + 350B2(A-stars), 206L, and EC120. HETS training is recurrent and ongoing. Long lines, nets, and sling gear is provided by Blackcomb.
The diversity of Blackcomb’s fleet enables Blackcomb to provide very high levels of aviation support and service to mining ventures in remote locations. Blackcomb’s experience in remote location support is long-standing and supported by pilot and AME expertise in mining operations throughout Canada.
